Central is a strong, active, and productive church, comprised of committed members seeking to truly live their faith in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Throughout our website we attempt to describe ourselves and our activities in an open and honest fashion in the hope that it will enable you to begin to know us. Leadership
Over the years, Central Congregational Church has been blessed with capable leadership on the part of its lay members and clergy, both providing a source of outstanding service in the religious, civic and cultural life of the city. Current leadership includes:

Staff—
Rev. Christine Ng, Senior Minister
Rev. Katelin Warren, Associate Minister for Youth and Young Adults
Ms. Kathy Lowrie, Minister of Music
Ms. Doris Friedell, Office Manager

Board of Religious Education—
The Board of Religious Education is responsible for Christian education of all members—adults, young adults, youth and children.

Board of Deacons—
The Deacons are responsible for all aspects of worship. Sub-committees include the Music Committee and CareNet organization.

Board of Mission—
The Board of Mission is responsible for defining and directing our mission program. Sub- committees include the Mission Advisory Committee, the Guatemala Educational Project, and UCC Special Offerings.

Board of Trustees—
The Trustees are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the church’s physical plant.

Church Council—
The Church Council coordinates the efforts of all the boards. Membership on the council includes the board chairpersons and the chair of the Stewardship Committee.

Stewardship Committee—
The Stewardship Committee is responsible for the annual pledge drive and for educating the congregation on the importance of Christian stewardship.

Membership Development Committee—
The Membership Development Committee coordinates efforts to attract new members and to nurture current ones. This committee is also responsible for the church web site.

Investment Committee—
The Investment Committee manages the church’s investments and reports to the Church Council on a quarterly basis.

Endowment Foundation—
The Endowment Foundation is a nonprofit corporation of the State of Texas, which exists for the sole purpose of supporting the life and work of Central Congregational Church, Dallas, Texas.
